I have teaching and professional-development experience in K-12 and higher ed, a degree in educational psychology and technology, and years of experience designing everything from self-paced e-learning modules to semester-length college courses.
I am passionate about crafting learning experiences that are engaging and memorable, as well as measurably effective in relation to specific learning goals.
And I believe teaching and learning can always be further refined and improved with:

more on-demand scaffolding that learners can access when they need it
progress check-ins that show learners what they’ve already achieved and preview what’s next
contrasting perspectives or interpretations—to highlight a topic’s complexity and nuance

more attention to Universal Design—which benefits ALL learners
more access to the perspectives and insights of co-learners
more ways for learners to choose the learning pathway that’s the best fit for them
more “Aha!” moments where learners revisit and solve a problem they earlier found challenging
learning tasks in which learners can see themselves and their aspirations
